During lockdown I've had great pleasure in doing small watercolour studies of flowers in my garden. Because there are no pressures of time and other people are doing my shopping, etc. I've had all the time and leisure to study flowers in detail in the medium I used exclusively 52 years ago, and then changed to oils and pastels over time. I am fortunate in having a large garden and every little flower, even dandelions and daisies, features in my studies - beauty is all around us, if we have time to stop and stare.
