As Head of Art and Design at Chenderit School for 34 years, John's inspirational, nurturing teaching style has had profound effects on students and the school's success generally. Surrounded by the extraordinary display of art and design work by alumni of the School, John will share his passion, his philosophy of a broad education and snippets to illustrate his career.

This will include painting, pottery, textiles, graphics, school trips abroad, working with the National Society of Art and Design Educators, raising huge funds to develop the school facilities to include a photography studio, the gallery and to support artists in residence ... all tremendous achievements.
