A green woodpecker pauses for a moment on a branch after some hard work digging for ants on the lawn.

 For some, isolation has meant a break from life as we knew it; busy schedules, rushing from A to B to hit some deadline. It has given many of us a chance to reflect on nature, slowing down to a pace more synchronised with the outdoors. For me, painting nature gives the opportunity to capture and explore a glimpse of another creature's world, helping to develop a more mindful approach to daily life.
