Kay Reeve
I come from a family of photographers and have been interested in the art as long as I can remember. I am a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, having obtained my Fellowship some years ago with a panel of images of British fungi.
These days I am spending quite a bit of time doing traditional darkroom work, which I find more artistic, even more therapeutic, than working at a computer screen. I cannot say that I favour any particular subject, but looking at the work I produce, I can see that I still do quite a lot of natural history, along with landscapes and still life.
I am a retired solicitor, and have never worked as a professional photographer, however, I have been an experienced photographic competition judge for many years. I now focus my attention towards art based photography exhibitions, seminars and events. I am currently Treasurer to the RPS Analogue Group, a Trustee of the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and a member of the Environment Group of the Diocese of Coventry.
