When the lockdown started everywhere was eerily quiet. Spring had just started and it was very hot. Nothing felt right. Everything was hanging from a thread, not woven together but fragile. The work I have made is hand and machine-embroidered threads joined together by criss-crossing each other over scraps of paper and fabric. They are just hanging threads.
