For my photography portfolio, I chose to focus on the importance of light and how photographers use different methods to manipulate it to their advantage. I enjoyed the independence and ability to take the subject in the direction I wanted to. Also, having zero boundaries allowed me to explore different styles of photography I didn't know existed.
Photography has taught me to think creatively and independently, which is a crucial skill in the working world and will help me in the future with tasks such as problem solving.
After Chenderit, I plan to join an apprenticeship to work on helicopters and specialise in the avionics side.
