I started the painting at a workshop in December 2019 when I was focussing on the solar system and paint blending but the work remained unfinished.   I picked it up again in January with global warming in mind and collage work developed.  By February /March Covid 19 was gathering pace and images started to evolve as we reached a peak of over 900 deaths a day in parts of Europe and the UK.   I make no apology for my portrayal of narrative .  A long with the majority of the world I had a foreboding that was only surmounted by the heartache of global grief.
