Hand cut reclaimed elm and ash veneer

Having been used to working in isolation, during current restrictions I have been trying to work in a space where my husband and son are trying to live at much more of a loose end and finding that quite the challenge, so to preserve my sanity I have been revisiting local countryside haunts that I have neglected to see the beauty in for awhile. I do like to feature birds in my work, but had come to consider that much art of late has been 'over owled'  but was lucky enough to catch a fleeting glimpse on a field margin which was magic. So, I was prompted to include one again.
