The Start of a Beautiful Day by Clare Tebboth

I have found art a great distraction during the pandemic and having spent weeks painting still life of flowers as the emerged in my garden I then started to turn my thoughts to the world outside!  From this has come a series of paintings looking out through the window,  I guess thinking of all the things we could do once this was over.  The sea features heavily in my work and it was nice to combine my two loves - still life and seascapes in one image.
