Chris: “Our lovely boys, Harris and Bute, are rare breed Soay sheep who reside in a paddock at our Oxfordshire home. Normally, most boys like them wouldn't survive this long but we've given them a chance to live out their full lives - perhaps 10 years or more. They are individual characters, feisty and boisterous and with a range of expressions and moods. All through the Covid pandemic, they've been there, looking back at us and reminding us that their lives matter too. And they make very good portrait subjects - but not sitters!”
